The tense calm

SYNOPSIS

It is an environment where the routine follows its normal course, those who intervene in this event, develop in a state of apparent neutrality, a calm assigned by an uncomfortable silence ... The faces of the interpreters or their actions are showing that they are silent, to avoid a disaster. In this dynamic we can perceive a semi-hidden source of violence that occurs in the last place where it should be expected: the house, these characters find themselves in the dilemma between fleeing or attacking. This piece is still in the process of creation.
We presented a first 8-minute sketch in 2017 within the "Homoescenic" contest winning honorable mention. This year we were programmed within the festival: Quartier Danses in the city of Montreal.
