One-man for a short-sighted performer

This piece is to look at the intimacy of an isolated character who expresses a loss of contact with reality manifesting perception disorders, begins in a psychotic state, hurried thoughts, verbiage and over-excitement, gradually walking towards lethargy and hopelessness.
With this work I seek the convergence between Dance and the use of the voice ... approaching the body as a territory of memory and mutant identity, a storehouse of sensations assumed in the body, an accumulation of experiences that may not be verbalized but clearly perceived.
I started working on this one-man show in 2012, and it has performed at Festivals such as: Danxica, Caminos Toronto, Camp_ In among others.
